Aaron Ramsdale (Southampton) - 8.00

Russell Martin’s Southampton finally picked up their first Premier League victory of the season, a hard-fought 1-0 win over Everton at St Mary’s. Pivotal to ensuring the hosts claimed all three points and a first clean sheet of the campaign was goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who made a total of five saves on Saturday afternoon, including a remarkable goal-line stop to deny a close-range Michael Keane effort.

Ola Aina (Nottingham Forest) - 8.29

One of three Nottingham Forest players to make our XI following their 3-0 victory over West Ham on Saturday is right-back Ola Aina, who - like many of his team-mates - has enjoyed an impressive start to the season. The Nigeria international found the net for the first time this term with a stunning left-footed strike into the top-left corner against the Hammers, adding the hosts’ third goal of the afternoon to seal a comfortable win.

Wesley Fofana (Chelsea) - 7.52

Despite the points being shared with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, two Chelsea players make our Team of the Week following their efforts at Old Trafford. The first Blues representative is defender Wesley Fofana, who turned in his best rated performance of the season so far in Manchester, making three tackles, six clearances and two interceptions, while also winning 11 of the 15 duels he contested.

Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace) - 7.50

Fofana is partnered in the backline by former Chelsea man Marc Guehi, who found the net for the second time this season as Crystal Palace played out a 2-2 draw with Wolves on Saturday evening. The England international also managed a tackle, seven clearances, an interception, three ball recoveries and five duels won, for a WhoScored rating of 7.50.

Leif Davis (Ipswich) - 8.46

With two assists to his name already this season, Ipswich left-back Leif Davis scored his first-ever Premier League goal in some style against Leicester on Saturday, finding the far corner with a fine left-footed volley to put the hosts in front at Portman Road. As well as his goal, Davis also managed three key passes, two accurate crosses, four tackles, three clearances and eight duels won.

Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth) - 9.17

With a WhoScored rating of 9.17, Bournemouth hero Antoine Semenyo is our Premier League Player of the Week following his performance in Saturday’s victory over Manchester City. Semenyo was on hand to poke home his fourth of the season after nine minutes, putting the Cherries ahead, while he also made three key passes, six successful dribbles, seven passes into the final third, three tackles and six ball recoveries. An immensely well-rounded showing.

Joao Gomes (Wolves) - 8.17

Wolves’ Joao Gomes earns a spot in our midfield after scoring his first league goal of the season in Saturday’s entertaining draw with Crystal Palace at Molineux. The 23-year-old found the net with his only attempt on goal of the afternoon, while he also managed three key passes, four successful dribbles, three accurate long balls, three tackles and nine ball recoveries, to register a WhoScored rating of 8.17.

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea) - 7.95

The second Chelsea player to feature in our Team of the Week is midfielder Moises Caicedo, whose remarkable volley on 74 minutes helped the Blues to a point in a closely-contested battle at Old Trafford on Sunday. In keeping with performances for much of this season, Caicedo dominated the midfield, making three tackles, two successful dribbles and four ball recoveries.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Nottingham Forest) - 8.12

Ex-Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is the second Nottingham Forest star to make our best XI after Saturday’s win over West Ham. His goal 20 minutes into the second half doubled the hosts’ lead over the Hammers, while he also recorded a 96% pass success rate (48/50), four key passes and six touches in the opposition box, for a WhoScored rating of 8.12.

Dominic Solanke (Tottenham) - 8.76

Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke netted his first Premier League goals since the end of September against Aston Villa on Sunday, bagging a brace on home soil to bring his tally for the season to four. The England international put Spurs ahead after 75 minutes, before finding the net again just four minutes later to all but seal the points for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest) - 8.13

Rounding off our Team of the Week is Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood, who earns a place in our XI for the third week in a row. Wood, who has now scored in each of his last four league matches, headed Forest in front against West Ham on Saturday, sending them on their way to a 3-0 victory that has seen them move into third place in the Premier League. Only Erling Haaland has scored more goals (11) than the New Zealand international this term.
