Ajax striker tipped to make winter switch to Man Utd
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is open to the idea of a January reunion with Ajax striker Brian Brobbey, reports Sky Sports Germany.
Brobbey has been in fine form for Ajax this season having scored nine goals and registered a further four assists for the Dutch outfit in the Eredivisie.
United are expected to invest in a new striker either this month or in the summer, with Joshua Zirkzee also a rumoured target for the Premier League side.
United spent big to sign Rasmus Hojlund last summer but the young Dane frontman has only scored twice in the Premier League following his arrival from Atalanta.
Ten Hag's side were linked with a move for the 21-year-old over the summer only to focus their efforts on Hojlund.
Brobbey departed Ajax for RB Leipzig back in 2021 but endured a disappointing stint in Germany before returning to the Dutch side six months later.
Brobbey is contracted to Ajax until 2027 with the Dutch side under no pressure to sell their star striker this month.
