Massimiliano Allegri is ready to quit Juventus this summer and replace Antonio Conte at Chelsea, claims The Sun.
Conte is widely expected to step down as Chelsea manager at the end of the season after two whirlwind years in west London.
Former Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has been heavily linked with the top job at Stamford Bridge but now Allegri is in pole position.
The 50-year-old has already confirmed he is finished in Italy and would like to manage in the Premier League, with Chelsea his preferred destination.
Allegri succeeded Conte as Juventus head coach in 2014 and is now keen to do the same at Chelsea.
The Italian has led Juventus to the final of two of the previous three Champions League seasons but has fallen short to Spanish opposition on both occasions.
