Julian Draxler has been told he is free to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the wake of Neymar’s world record arrival, reports Sky Germany.
The Germany international has been a hit for PSG since joining from Wolfsburg in January but Neymar’s unexpected arrival has forced him out of the team.
Unai Emery’s side signed Neymar for £193m earlier this month and the Brazil international has now taken Draxler’s place in the team on the left of the front three.
Draxler was an unused substitute against Guingamp last weekend and watched Neymar dazzle on debut and it has now transpired that the Ligue 1 giants are looking to cash in on the German.
The 23-year-old would not be short of suitors and has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League. PSG will be looking to recoup all of their original £30m investment and will even look to make a profit.
In 17 league appearances for PSG last season, Draxler scored four goals and provided one assist, finishing the second half of the campaign with a respectable WhoScored rating of 7.19.
