Arsenal set to meet Celtic demands in third bid for Tierney
Arsenal are preparing to submit a third bid for Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney, The Daily Record reports.
The Scottish champions have rebuffed the Gunners' advances in recent weeks but the Premier League club are still hopeful of negotiating a deal.
In fact, Arsenal’s last offer came close to matching Celtic’s valuation of the player but included a significant amount of add-ons to reach that price.
The Hoops instead want the vast majority of their £25m asking price paid up front and it appears as though the Londoners are now considering meeting said demands.
Tierney, now 22, has been a mainstay at Parkhead since he was a teenager and has been linked with a number of England’s top clubs since breaking into the first team in Glasgow.
He has captained the team on numerous occasions, filling at centre-back as well as his favoured left-back berth, and amassed 21 appearances across the Champions and Europa League.
