Tottenham have confirmed Ryan Sessegnon has completed a season-long loan move to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.
Sessegnon has endured a rough time at Tottenham since joining the north London outfit from Fulham last summer in a £25m deal.
The 20-year-old was signed by former manager Mauricio Pochettino but failed to make any impression under his successor, Jose Mourinho.
Not quite ready for first-team football at Tottenham, Mourinho has sanctioned Sessegnon's straightforward loan deal to Hoffenheim.
Tottenham still have long-term plans for the England Under-21 international and hope regular football in Germany will help his development.
Sessegnon made only six Premier League appearances for Tottenham last season and had not featured in any of their eight matches in all competitions this term.
In fact, Sessegnon only made the matchday squad on one occasion during that time and he failed to make it off the bench in their Europa League qualifier with Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
