WhoScored.com Acca Assemble – Premier League Gameweek 23
#AccaAssemble is back this weekend ahead of another round of Premier League fixtures. Using three of the 3pm Kick Offs we have asked our twitter community to choose who they would like to see in their three fold. The games chosen were Leicester vs Tottenham, Arsenal vs Brentford and Crystal Palace vs Brighton.
We use Oddschecker to ensure that we get the best price in the market to create our very own acca and offer some rationale behind the picks below.
Leicester vs Tottenham – Tottenham to Win 22/19
Our first pick is for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham to take all three points from their trip to the King Power stadium. Spurs have won three of their last four visits to Leicester and will be hoping to build upon their 1-0 win over Man City last weekend. Tottenham will be without goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris though, who will be missing for 6-8 weeks, after picking up a knee injury against City. The Frenchman is not the only notable absentee as Christian Romero will also miss out through suspension.
Leicester put an end to their five-game winless run in the Premier League winning 4-2 against Aston Villa, however, the Foxes have had mixed results at home in the league picking up just nine points so far. With that said, Leicester haven’t been short of a goal against Spurs in their last three matches at home, scoring at least twice on all three occasions.
Arsenal vs Brentford – Arsenal to Win 10/21
A massive 67% of voters opted to side with Arsenal in this match up. The Gunners will be looking to bounce back after their shock defeat to struggling Everton last weekend, only their second defeat this season. They did face Brentford immediately after their only other defeat in the league and ran out 3-0 winners on that occasion and Mikel Arteta will be hoping his team can repeat that feat.
Brentford are one of the League’s in-form teams of late and the last time they were defeated was way back at the end of October. However, their away form hasn’t been the best and the Bees have only won two of their ten matches on the road in the league this campaign.

Crystal Palace vs Brighton – Brighton to Win 24/23
It’s the M23 derby with Crystal Palace hosting Brighton. Our #AccaAssemble voters have opted for an away win for the Seagulls.
Crystal Palace are without a win in their last six outings, with their last win coming on New Year’s Eve. The Eagles have won just four of their 11 home Premier League matches and will be hoping to add another to that total against Brighton. Positively for the hosts, Brighton haven’t beaten Palace in their last six meetings.
Brighton are another side in fine form recently and they remain unbeaten in 2023 in all competitions. They welcome back their World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, and their second highest rated player (7.01), who is likely to be a big boost to the visitors. They will be looking to extend their unbeaten away run to five in the Premier League.
