Form Guide

A 1-0 victory at Fulham last week saw Newcastle extend their unbeaten run to three league matches, winning two. While a late top-four push is off the table, to be in their current position given their raft of absentees is impressive. Eddie Howe's side are unbeaten in five at St. James' Park, though they have won just two of those games.

Like Newcastle, Tottenham also made it three games unbeaten as they beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 to move above Aston Villa in the table. They'll look to build upon that victory as they seek to wrap up a Champions League place, though their away form has been poor with Ange Postecoglou overseeing just one win in their last six on their travels.

Team News

Eddie Howe is without no fewer than 11 players for Saturday's welcome of Spurs. The likes of Sven Botman, Kieran Trippier and Valentino Livramento miss out, so Lewis Hall and Emil Krafth should feature at left and right-back, respectively, with Dan Burn partnering Fabian Schar at the heart of the defence. Joe Willock will be assessed having been forced off at Fulham with Elliot Anderson in line to deputise if required.

Brennan Johnson shook off a knock to start Tottenham's 3-1 win over former side Nottingham Forest last weekend, while Richarlison should make the matchday squad having missed the victory. Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon are long-term absentees. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur impressed off the bench against Forest and the pair may replace Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma in the middle of the park.

SkyBet Price Boost

In an early kick off at St. James' Park, goals are to be expected. While a repeat of last season's 6-1 scoreline is unlikely, both Newcastle and Tottenham like to play exciting football that'll hopefully live up to the billing. In both Alexander Isak and Son Heung-Min, the two sides have in-form frontmen who can do maximum damage on any given gameday.

Both strikers have each scored 15 league goals this season, with Isak favouring home comforts. Indeed, the Swede has scored the third most home goals (10) in England's top tier this term. Son, meanwhile, is able to do the business both home and away with the Spurs skipper ranking third for away goals scored (8) in the 2023/24 Premier League campaign. With that, SkyBet have boosted their offer of Isak and Son to score from 7/2 to 5/1.

Score Prediction: Newcastle 2-2 Tottenham
