Another exciting round of Bundesliga fixtures were played out on Saturday as Bayern Munich re-opened the four-point gap between themselves and second-placed Borussia Dortmund with a 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Dortmund themselves had put the pressure on FC Hollywood with their 2-0 win at Wolfsburg, while Bayer Leverkusen leapfrogged Gladbach into third courtesy of a Kai Havertz-inspired 3-1 away win.

The 20-year-old put Bayer Leverkusen ahead after just seven minutes before adding his and his side's second from the spot on the hour mark. That penalty goal could have delivered a first Bundesliga hat-trick of his career having struck the woodwork on the stroke of half time as two of Havertz's four shots hit the back of the net, while two tackles and two key passes helped the youngster to a WhoScored rating of 8.63.

Borussia Dortmund temporarily moved to within one point of Bayern Munich with a professional 2-0 win at Wolfsburg on Saturday. A wing-back one-two helped Dortmund to a vital victory as Raphael Guerreiro put Lucien Favre's side ahead before Achraf Hakimi doubled their advantage and sealed all three points. The Moroccan was the WhoScored man of the match from the Volkswagen Arena with a WhoScored rating of 7.66 as he hit the back of the net with his only shot on goal, while two key passes, one tackle and one successful dribble contributed to his individual gong.

Robert Skov put Hoffenheim ahead after four points with Pavel Kaderabek providing the assist for the Dane to score. Borussia Dortmund's 2-0 win at Wolfsburg may have ramped up the pressure on Bayern to defeat Eintracht Frankfurt, but they made light work of Adi Hutter's side, running out 5-2 winners on home turf. The game may be best remembered for Martin Hinteregger's hat-trick of sorts, the defender bagging a brace before inadvertently turning the ball into his own net, yet it marked Alphonso Davies' first man of the match performance in the Bundesliga this season. The Canadian provided the assist for Thomas Muller to net on the stroke of half time, before Davies netted his second league goal of the season with an hour on the clock. Returns of three tackles and one interception saw Davies come away from the clash with a WhoScored rating of 8.64.
