PSG had Keylor Navas to thank for even being in the position to stage a comeback, as the Costa Rica international had a fine display against his former club. Navas was the WhoScored Man of the Match after making 10 saves.

Bender secured all three points for the German side after converting from a set-piece less than 10 minutes into the second half. The 30-year-old ensured a clean sheet for the away side with 10 tackles and interceptions combined.

Atalanta recorded their first ever Champions League group stage win in midweek with a 2-0 victory at home to Dinamo Zagreb. It had been a miserable European campaign for the Serie A outfit prior to Tuesday but they at least had something to cheer about against Zagreb. Centre-back Jose Luis Palomino was a notable performer for the home side, making eight tackles and winning four aerial duels to ensure a clean sheet.

Jose Gaya was the WhoScored Man of the Match in Valencia's thrilling 2-2 draw at home to Chelsea on Wednesday after playing a key role at both ends of the field. The Spaniard registered three key passes and completed two dribbles, as well as winning three fouls. Not only that, but Gaya made four tackles. He would have assisted a match-winner for Valencia had Maxi Gomez not stabbed his perfectly-weighted cross wide from four yards out.
