WhoScored partners with Fanteam Fantasy Football for 2019/20 campaign
The 2019/20 Premier League campaign is just over 24 hours away and now is your final opportunity to fine tune your fantasy football teams ahead of the new season. With new transfer happening all-time ahead of today’s deadline day, it’s important to make the right choices to get off to a flyer.
Ahead of the new campaign, WhoScored have partnered with FanTeam to help you make the right picks every week. Fanteam Fantasy Football are offering a remarkable prize pool of €250,000 for the upcoming season and the money is guaranteed no matter how many teams enter!
The winner at the end of the season will take home €50,000, while second picks up €25,000 and third will pocket €12,000. It doesn’t end there! Fanteam will pay out right down until the 1,250th place, while there are also monthly and weekly prizes to be won for the manager of the month and gameweek, respectively.
The rules for picking your team are similar to most Fantasy Football games. You have to pick a squad of 15 players (two GKs, five DFs, five MFs and three FWs) from a budget of 100million and you can select only a maximum of three players from any one team. The prices of players is set to begin with but they will rise and fall from week to week based on their performance and demand.
Your captain will earn you double points and you have one free transfer each week. You can carry over your free transfer if you wish but you cannot bank any more than two free transfers at one time. There will be a wildcard to use during the first half of the season and second half of the season, which can be used at any time, and they grant you unlimited transfers. All that is required is a £25 entry fee but the prizes on offer are astonishing!
