Premier League team news and prediction: Man City vs Leicester
Someone's perfect record will fall when the two sides meet on Sunday, with Leicester aiming to make it three wins from three and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City looking to string together successive victories after their late start.

City, meanwhile, have the chance to draw level with defending champions Liverpool with three points here and apply early pressure ahead of their game with Arsenal on Monday night.

Team News
Manchester City will continue to be without Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo and Oleksandar Zinchenko because of injury, while Ilkay Gundogan is still recovering from COVID-19. Gabriel Jesus is also now out for several weeks, which means Raheem Sterling may have to play centrally. Pep Guardiola may look to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation used in the 3-1 win away to Wolves, allowing Kevin De Bruyne to play further forward. Aymeric Laporte is pushing to start after making his comeback in midweek, but John Stones will hope to get another chance to prove his worth. Phil Foden looks set for a run in the side after a good start to the season.
Leicester have been rocked by news star midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is out for three months with an abductor injury. Ndidi started Leicester's first two games at the back but Jonny Evans is at least back from suspension to start for the Foxes. James Maddison has been eased back from his own long-term injury but is now ready to start, with Youri Tielemans the most likely to drop out on Sunday. New signing Cengiz Under is not available until next week, while Demarai Gray is unwell and won't travel along with long-term absentee Ricardo Pereira.
Probable XIs
Man City (4231): Ederson; Walker, Stones, Ake; Mendy; Fernandinho, Rodrigo; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden; Sterling
Leicester (4141): Schmeichel; Castagne, Evans, Soyuncu, Justin; Mendy; Perez, Praet, Maddison, Barnes; Vardy
Key Battle: Phil Foden vs James Maddison
Despite Phil Foden's nightmare summer, the Manchester City starlet is considered the future of England's midfield and will likely provide direct competition for James Maddison in Gareth Southgate's squad moving forward.
Maddison has endured torrid time with injury in recent months and will hope to recapture the sort of form he showed at the start and midway through last season. The Leicester star impressively ranked second (2.5) behind Kevin De Bruyne (3.5) for most key passes pg in the Premier League last season. However, the 23-year-old only managed six goals and three assists and Brendan Rodgers will hope for better returns this time around.
Foden, meanwhile, seems to score or assist whenever he is on the pitch. The 20-year-old has an impressive knack of decisivie moments already at such a young age and that bodes well for the City midfielder moving forward. Foden scored in City's league opener and followed that up with a goal and an assist against Bournemouth on Thursday. Since the beginning of last season, Foden averages a goal or an assist every 122.9 minutes of action.
Prediction: Man City 3-1 Leicester
