Bournemouth 1-2 Manchester United - Anthony Martial - 7.97 rating

 

Anthony Martial has now scored five goals in his last four Premier League appearances for Manchester United after helping Jose Mourinho’s side come back from 1-0 down to beat Bournemouth 2-1 on Saturday. The Frenchman twice hit the target against the Cherries, while also creating two goalscoring opportunities for teammates. Martial also completed one dribbles and drew two fouls.

 

Cardiff 0-1 Leicester - Ben Chilwell - 7.87 rating

 

Leicester players did immensely well to handle the occasion of their first game since the tragic death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and played their hearts out for a man that has revolutionised the club. Ben Chilwell provided the assist for Leicester’s winner and was resolute at both ends of the pitch. The England international had the most touches (75) from both sets of players, won six aerial duels, made four clearances and completed one dribble.

 

Everton 3-1 Brighton - Richarlison - 8.96 rating

 

Asked to play in an unfamiliar position as Everton’s striker in recent weeks, Richarlison showed he can do that role for Everton in their victory over Brighton on Saturday. The 21-year-old scored two goals from four shots against the Seagulls and also won four aerial duels, more than Brighton centre-backs Lewis Dunk (3) and Shane Duffy (2). Richarlison also completed three dribbles, more than any player on display at Goodison Park.

Newcastle 1-0 Watford - Kenedy - 8.05 rating

 

Newcastle picked up their first Premier League win of the season against high-flying Watford and on-loan Chelsea winger Kenedy played an integral part for the Magpies. The 22-year-old was a constant threat for Watford’s defence, attempting five shots and creating a goalscoring opportunity. Kenedy also completed five dribbles and drew one foul. Not only did the Brazilian excel going forward, he was important for Newcastle when they did not have possession. He impressively completed eight tackles and interceptions combined, more than any Newcastle player. 

 

West Ham 4-2 Burnley - Felipe Anderson - 9.49 rating

 

West Ham manager Mauricio Pellegrini was forced to defend Felipe Anderson’s form in midweek and the Brazilian vindicated his manager’s faith with a barnstorming performance against Burnley. Anderson netted twice and was denied by the woodwork in an electrifying performance that saw him hit the target with four of his five attempts. Not only that, but Anderson completed three dribbles, drew four fouls and registered two key passes.

 

Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool - James Milner - 7.95 rating

 

James Milner continues to excel for Liverpool after turning in a man of the match performance in a 1-1 draw away to Arsenal on Saturday. The 32-year-old gave Liverpool the lead with his only shot of the game, his first non-penalty goal in the league since the 2015/16 campaign. The Liverpool midfielder also registered three key passes, won three aerial duels and completed as many tackles to help prolong Liverpool’s unbeaten start in the league.

 

Wolves 2-3 Tottenham  - Raul Jimenez - 8.75 rating

 

Wolves ended up on the wrong side of a five-goal thriller against Tottenham but did valiantly to come back from 3-0 down to give Tottenham something to think about for the final 10 minutes. Raul Jimenez scored Wolves’ second penalty of the evening, his third Premier League goal of the campaign. The 27-year-old had five shots in total, with three hitting the target. Jimenez also registered two key passes and completed three aerial duels and two dribbles. The Mexico international lead from the front for the home side, completing the most tackles of Wolves players (4).
