Manchester City are now in pole position to sign Juventus ace Paul Pogba, according to the Daily Mirror.
Barcelona have supposedly pulled out of a deal to secure the Frenchman’s services due to financial reasons.
Reports had suggested the youngster would move to the European champions for a fee believed to be in the region of £85m.
However, their decision to pull the plug on the move has opened up the chance for City to secure the 22-year-old’s services.
Pogba is not without his admirers in Europe, with Chelsea also keen to signing the France international, whose WhoScored rating (7.65) is the third best in Serie A this season.
