West Ham not interested in Manchester City outcast

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has denied the club are interested in signing Manchester City outcast Joe Hart at the end of the season.

Hart, 29, has spent the season on loan at Italian outfit Torino after being deemed surplus to requirements by new City manager Pep Guardiola but his future beyond the end of the current campaign is still up in the air.

Torino have already made it clear they would like to keep the England international beyond the end of this season but admit they may not be able to meet the financial demands to get a deal done, while Hart seemingly has no future at City despite Claudio Bravo’s on-going struggles.

Hart has been regularly linked with a move to West Ham this season but the Hammers boss insists he is happy with his current options and isn’t considering a move for the City goalkeeper.

“We’re not linked with him,” Eurosport quote Bilic as saying. “Well, basically we are linked with every player. On one hand I rate Joe Hart highly, he’s a great goalkeeper and a great personality.

“But on the other hand I said in every transfer window if there is one position that we are not even thinking about changing that’s the goalkeeping position. I already have two great goalkeepers so that is not the case, no.”

Only Empoli goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski (7) has made more saves from inside the six-yard box in Serie A this season than Hart (6).
