Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea are to battle it out over the signing of Everton centre-back John Stones, reports the Mail on Sunday.
Despite Everton's disappointing position, Stones is still widely considered one of the hottest prospects on the continent, with a number of teams chasing his signature.
The Toffees were inundated with offers from Chelsea last summer, yet held onto their key man, though interest from the Blues remains.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have since taken a liking to Stones, 21, and are prepared to spend big to secure his services.
Everton would command a fee in the region of £50m, though that figure could rise should the centre-back enjoy an impressive Euro 2016 campaign for England.
Real Madrid, though, would need to act swiftly to get the deal done, with Los Blancos set to undergo a transfer embargo upon the culmination of the January transfer window.
