England will play a friendly against reigning world champions Germany next year.
Gareth Southgate will be hoping to still be charge when the Three Lions renew their rivalry against Germany on March 22, although that will depend on how he fares in England’s next two matches against Scotland and Spain.
Next year’s friendly will take place at Borussia Dortmund’s iconic Signal Iduna Park, where England will be hopeful of repeating the 3-2 win over the 2014 World Cup winners before their failed Euro 2016 campaign in the summer.
England have won three of their last five international friendlies away to Germany.
