Tottenham look set to miss out on Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama, according to Sky Sports.
The Kenya international had been strongly linked with a move away from St. Mary's, with Spurs leading the race to sign the powerhouse 24-year-old.
Wanyama was left out of the Southampton squad that overcome Norwich 3-0 on Sunday as manager Ronald Koeman felt he was not "mentally and physically good enough to play."
The decision heightened speculation that he was set for a Spurs move, however the north London side are expected to miss out on his signature after he left the country to link up with the Kenya national team on Tuesday morning.
