Manchester City winger Nolito is in talks with a return to Spain after just 12 months at the club, reports BBC Sport.
Pep Guardiola’s side paid £13.8m to sign Nolito from Celta Vigo last summer but the Spain international has failed to make any impression on the City manager this season.
Nolito is one of several players in the City squad that are expected to be offloaded this summer and Real Betis, who are 15th in La Liga, are reportedly in talks with Guardiola’s side about a deal.
However, there will need to be some sort of agreement between the two sides as Betis are unlikely to be able to afford his current £100,000-a-week wages.
Nolito has started one game in 2017 and that was in the FA Cup against Huddersfield and only managed 37 minutes of league action since the turn of the year.
Interestingly, however, City have a 100% win ratio with Nolito in the starting XI in the Premier League this season, compared to a win ratio of 44.4% when he hasn’t started.
