Leroy Sane will be rewarded with a new Manchester City deal after making a sublime start to the season, claims The Sun.
The Germany international is currently one of the lowest paid players in the City squad on £60,000-a-weel but will be handed a new contract to reflect his growing importance to the team.
City have made resolving the futures of David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho their priority, but Sane will be given a new £80,000-a-week deal by the start of next season.
Guardiola’s side shelled out £37m to sign Sane from Schalke in the summer of 2016 and the 21-year-old has really hit the ground running this term after making a slow start to life in England last season.
In fact, no player has managed a direct hand in more Premier League goals than Sane this season (12), level with Sergio Aguero, Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata and Mohamed Salah.
