Ryan Fredericks has hinted he could sign a new deal with Fulham after their promotion to the Premier League on Saturday.
The 25-year-old’s existing Fulham deal is due to expire this summer and West Ham and Crystal Palace are keen.
Fredericks was expected to leave the Cottagers but now the right-back has indicated he could
renew with the club after they beat Aston Villa 1-0 on the Championship playoff final.
“It’s up to the people behind the scenes but I’m sure everyone will want to stay and play at the highest level with Fulham and see what we can achieve,” the London Evening Standard quote Fredericks as saying.
“Can this club allow me to fulfil my ambitions? Of course. You lookout the players we’re attractive, like Aleksandar Mitrovic, we’ve already go Premier League players in the Championship so I’m sure we’re going to build again and have many years in the Premier League.
“We can achieve a lot. We’re not just going to go there and be one-season wonder. We want to keep the club in the Premier League as long as possible. It’s a Premier League team.
“We didn’t want to come out here and have a good day at Wembley. We wanted to come out and show what we’re about. That’s what we did. We did ourselves proud.”
Promotion to the Premier League will also boost Fulham’s chances of keeping hold of the likes of Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon, who have both been heavily linked with Premier League clubs this season.
Frederick finished the season with seven assists in the Championship, only Barry Douglas (14) managed more of all defenders in the division.
