Romelu Lukaku has told Everton manager Ronald Koeman he will turn down the chance to re-join Chelsea for another season at Goodison Park, reports The Daily Mirror.
The Belgium international looked destined to leave Everton at the end of last season with Chelsea determined to re-sign the striker after only selling him two years ago.
However, the arrival of Koeman in the wake of new investment at Everton appears to have convinced the powerful striker to stay with the Toffees for at least another campaign.
Only Sergio Aguero (45) has scored more clear-cut chances than Lukaku (39) in the Premier League since August 2012.
