On-loan Leeds defender attracting interest from Premier League champions
Manchester City are considering a summer move for centre-back Ben White, who is currently on loan at Leeds from Premier League adversaries Brighton, reports The Athletic.
White has excelled during his stint with Leeds, who are currently top of the Championship, with a number of top tier sides taking note of his fine showings at Elland Road.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has garnered a WhoScored rating of 7.05 for Marcelo Bielsa's side this season and Leeds are keen to keep the youngster in Yorkshire.
City, though, would face competition for White, with rivals Liverpool and Manchester United both monitoring his situation for the Championship title contenders.
Brighton are weighing up the possibility of cashing in on White, who is yet to make a league appearance for the Seagulls.
And they are aware they can command a relatively high price for the centre-back, which would play into their hands should they elect to sell.
White has made at least 14 more interceptions (86) than any other player in the Championship this season, reinforcing a statistically calculated WhoScored strength of 'ball interception'.
