EXCLUSIVE: WhoScored.com speak to Italy Euro 2016 hopeful

WhoScored.com spoke with Sassuolo defender and Italy Euro 2016 hopeful Francesco Acerbi, who has battled back from testicular cancer to get to the top of Italian football. In a wide-ranging interview, Acerbi discusses his inclusion in the WhoScored.com Serie A Team of the Season, his performances this season, as well as his future ambitions and his hopes of representing Italy at the Euros in the summer.

The 28-year-old’s WhoScored.com rating has improved in each of his three years at Sassuolo and he has been included in Antonio Conte’s Italy squad for upcoming fixtures against Spain and Germany.
