Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in replacing Laurent Blanc with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at the end of the season, according to L’Equipe.
Chelsea’s torrid start to the season has left Mourinho running out of time to save his job at Stamford Bridge and reports had emerged suggesting the Ligue 1 champions would throw the 52-year-old an escape route.
However, that isn’t the case, according to L’Equipe, who report PSG will prioritise style over anything if they decide not to offer Blanc a new deal, with his current contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger are two targets PSG would consider, as it looks increasingly likely they will sound out a new boss unless Blanc fails to show significant progress in their Champions League performances.
The Parisien outfit are already 10 points clear in the title race in Ligue 1 and are yet to taste defeat in their opening 12 matches. In fact, PSG have won their last six league matches and only four other teams across Europe can claim to be on such a run of good form at the moment.
