Chelsea have offered Cesc Fabregas to Juventus in a £45m deal, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, via The Daily Mail.
Juventus are desperate to sign a replacement for Paul Pogba after receiving a world record £89m fee for the midfielder and they had identified Fabregas’ Chelsea teammate Nemanja Matic as their number one target.
However, Chelsea have turned down their advances for the Serbia international but have reportedly been offered Fabregas’ services despite the midfielder featuring prominently for Antonio Conte in pre-season.
Only two players have won possession in the middle third more times than Fabregas in the last two Premier League campaigns (282).
