Man City consider £68m move for Tottenham target

Manchester City are considering a big money move for Tottenham target and Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, reports the Daily Mirror.

The Eagles are keen to retain Eze's services following the summer exit of Michael Olise, but are powerless to stop the England international from leaving should interested parties trigger his £68m release clause.

Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old, who earned a WhoScored rating of 7.45 in the Premier League last season.

However, they face competition from City for the former QPR star with the Premier League champions looking to add to their forward line.

City have already secured the services of Savinho from Girona but with concerns over Kevin De Bruyne's future at the club, they are weighing up their options as they consider another move for Eze.

City were linked with Eze last summer but ultimately signed Matheus Nunes from Wolves, though the Portugal international is rumoured to be free to leave the club.
