Borussia Dortmund deny any bids for star man

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has rubbished reports suggesting the Bundesliga outfit have accepted an offer from Paris Saint-Germain for star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Reports emerged from France at the start of the week claiming PSG had been successful with a £61m offer for Aubameyang as the Ligue 1 giants look to rebuild their squad following a thoroughly disappointing campaign.

However, Zorc insists Dortmund have not received a single offer for the Gabon international from any club around the world.

“As of now, we have not received any offers from any club across the world,” Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten, via beIN Sports.

Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund for the last few years after establishing himself as one of the best goalscorers in Europe.

Dortmund, who currently do not have a manager after sacking Thomas Tuchel at the start of the week, have previously come out on record to say that only a bid from Barcelona or Real Madrid would tempt the club into letting Aubameyang leave, which made reports of PSG’s success even more curious.

Aubameyang scored 40 goals in 46 matches for Dortmund this season, his best ever return in a single campaign.
