Real Madrid on verge of signing striker dubbed ‘next Zlatan Ibrahimovic’
Real Madrid are closing in on highly rated AIK striker Alexander Isak, according to Marca, via The Daily Mail.
Isak enjoyed a sensational campaign for Swedish outfit AIK last season before going on to becoming Sweden’s youngest ever goalscorer when he netted in a 6-0 win over Slovakia earlier this month.
The 17-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to a number of Europe’s biggest clubs but Madrid are seemingly set to win the race to land the teenage sensation.
Zinedine Zidane’s side will reportedly pay €10m (£8.6m) to sign Isak, which would make him the most expensive player sold by a Swedish outfit, surpassing the €8.6m Ajax paid Malmo for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2001.
Isak weighed in with an impressive 10 goals in 24 appearances for AIK last season.
