Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool and City weigh up Villarreal starlet

Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in making a summer move for rising Villarreal starlet Samuel Chukwueze, claims The Daily Mail.

Chukwueze has enjoyed a steady rise since breaking into the Villarreal first-team last season and was even linked with a shock move to Liverpool last month.

Jurgen Klopp's side were reportedly weighing up a £30m move for the 20-year-old to bolster their offensive options but Villarreal believe he is worth double that fee.

Interest from City and Chelsea will certainly help drive Chukwueze's price up at the end of the season and Villarreal will hope for a bidding war.

Chukwueze has made 22 league appearances for Villarreal this season, albeit only 13 starts, and has scored three goals and provided one assist in that time.

Moreover, the Nigeria international averages 2.6 successful dribbles per 90 and 1.8 key passes per 90 minutes in LaLiga this term.
