Arsenal outcast keen on AC Milan switch

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is keen on joining Italian giants AC Milan at the end of the season, reports The Daily Mail.

Wilshere has spent the season on loan at Bournemouth after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal but his future beyond the end of the campaign remains uncertain.

The 25-year-old will only have 12 months remaining on his current Arsenal deal at the end of the season but the next month will be crucial in defining what sort of career he goes on to have.

Wilshere was heavily linked with a move to Italy before he eventually joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal and the England international is now open to joining AC Milan following a conversation with David Beckham.

Beckham endured two successful loan spells with Milan and is believed to have recommended the move to Wilshere, who is becoming more receptive to the idea.

Only Kevin De Bruyne (7) has hit the woodwork more times in the Premier League this season than Wilshere (5).
