Premier League trio to thrash it out for Bundesliga marksman

 

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are prepared to fight it out for the signing of Robert Lewandowski, reports the Independent on Sunday.

 

The Poland international is thought to be considering his future at Bayern Munich amidst suggestions he fancies a new challenge in his career.

 

The Premier League trio are keen admirers of the 27-year-old, but would face competition for his signature from La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Bayern would also be reluctant to allow Lewandowski to leave and could command a fee of around £70m for the striker, who is contracted to the Allianz Arena until 2019.

 

Lewandowski has 15 league goals to his name this season, which has contributed to a WhoScored rating of 7.76.
