City set for Bellarabi swoop

Manchester City are supposedly keen on securing the signature of Bayer Leverkusen wideman Karim Bellarabi.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful season at the BayArena, netting 12 goals and registering a further 6 assists. Bellarabi also completed more successful dribbles (156) than any other Bundesliga player last campaign.

Such form has attracted the interest of City, who are keen to strengthen having forfeited their Premier League crown to Chelsea last term.

The Citizens are yet to make any major movements in the transfer market, though reports suggest wing-wizard Bellarabi will be City’s first major acquisition of the summer, with a £25m fee mooted.
