Tottenham keen on ex-Arsenal midfielder

Juventus are deserpate to offload Aaron Ramsey this summer and Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici is keen on a reunion, claims The Daily Mail.

Paratici played a key role in bringing Ramsey to Juventus on a free transfer after his contract expired with Arsenal in 2019 but the Wales international has been a massive flop.

The 30-year-old has been limited to just 24 league starts across his two seasons for Juventus and the Old Lady now want to shift his massive wages.

Ramsey earned a bumped £400,000-a-week payday by signing for Juventus on a free transfer and he still has two years left to run on his deal.

Juventus are also keen on re-signing Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona but would need to make room in midfield to accomodate the Bosnian ace.

Paratici left Juventus to join Tottenham over the summer and now he wants to bring the former Arsenal midfielder with him.

Ramsey spent 11 years at Arsenal before moving to Italy and it seems unlikely he would risk ruining his bond with the club by joining their neighbourhood rivals.

Despite proving a disasterous signing, Ramsey did average more key passes per 90 (2.6) than any other Juventus player in Serie A last season.
