RB Leipzig have announced they have signed Kevin Kampl from Bayer Leverkusen on a four-year deal until 2021.
The Bundesliga giants have moved to secure the services of Kampl with Naby Keita set to join Liverpool next summer.
Leipzig have reportedly paid out €20m (£18.4m) to sign the 26-year-old, taking their summer expenditure beyond the £50m mark.
The Slovenia international has also become Leipzig’s second most expensive player of all-time, behind Keita.
In the last three Bundesliga campaigns, only Schalke ace Leon Goretzka (226) has won possession in the midfield third more times than Kampl (225).
