Leicester City have turned down a £9m bid from Crystal Palace for out-of-favour wideman Jeffrey Schlupp, reports Sky Sports.
Schlupp has barely featured for the reigning Premier League champions since the start of last season and has previously been linked with a move away as he seeks regular first team football.
Sam Allardyce is keen to bolster Palace’s squad ahead of the second half of the season as the Eagles manager looks to steer the club clear of the bottom three.
Palace are currently one point above the relegation zone and have also been linked with moves for Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson and Hull star Robert Snodgrass this month.
Schlupp, 24, has only started one league game this season and has featured in as many minutes in the Champions League as he has managed in the Premier League (139).
