Swansea eye Sigurdsson replacements

Swansea will move for West Brom creator Nacer Chadli once that have sold Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Sigurdsson is edging closer to a stunning £45m move to Everton after being left out of Swansea’s squad for their first league game of the season and Paul Clement will have that money available to strengthen his squad.

Clement wants former Tottenham forward Chadli to replace the Iceland international, while the Swansea head coach is also interested in bringing Wilfried Bony and Joe Allen back to the Liberty Stadium.

Chadli become West Brom’s club-record signing in 2016 but fell out with manager Tony Pulis earlier this summer and was left out of their tour to Austria in pre-season.

After scoring four goals in his first five Premier League matches for West Brom, Chadli scored just one goal in his subsequent 26 appearances.
