Roma star signs new deal

Roma have announced Diego Perotti has agreed a two-year extension keeping him at the club until June 2021.

Perotti joined the Giallorossi in January 2016 and has established himself as a key player for the club in that time.

The Serie A giants have now moved to secure his best remaining years as Roma target success in league and in Europe.

“From the first game I have felt very at home here,” Perotti told the club’s official website. “I have enjoyed some of the best moments of my career here, and I hope to experience many more. I’m very happy.”

Perotti’s performances for Roma even culminated in his first Argentina call-up in seven years last month.

Of the 323 players to register 300+ minutes of action, Perotti completed more dribbles per 90 (6.4) than any other player in the group stages of the Champions League this season.
