Argentine hotshot prefers Real Madrid over Barcelona

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala would favour a move to Real Madrid over Barcelona, according to Spanish publication Marca.

There has been ample interest in the Argentine in recent months, with a host of teams keeping tabs on 23-year-old.

Dybala has supposedly rejected the overtures of a host of teams across Europe as he waits for an approach from Real Madrid.

Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the Juventus star recently, but even the lure of playing with compatriot Lionel Messi wouldn’t convince the youngster to move to Camp Nou.

Injury has limited Dybala’s first team action this season, with the forward registering just 10 league appearances this season, eight of which have been starts, with three goals and two assists returning a WhoScored rating of 7.40.

Juventus are aware they can’t return Dybala’s services in the long term, even if he signed a five-year deal to move to Turin in 2015, but are hoping he will pen a one-year contract extension to bring him level with Gonzalo Higuain as the club’s top earner.

Real Madrid, though, remain confident they can lure Dybala to the Bernabeu as they line up their next ‘Galactico’ signing at the end of the season.
