Grealish having second thoughts over blockbuster Man City switch

Jack Grealish is believed to be having second thoughts over a potential £100m move to Premier League champions Manchester City, according to talkSPORT.

Grealish is City's top summer target as Pep Guardiola seeks to add some creativity to his side's midfield despite ending the season as Premier League champions by 12 points and scoring more goals (83) than any other team.

City's dream is to win the Champions League and having lost the 2021 final to Chelsea, Guardiola believes Grealish to be the final piece of the puzzle to complete his squad.

However, Grealish is now believed to be considering whether a move to the Etihad Stadium is the right career direction.

It's even been reported that the 25-year-old could sign a new deal with boyhood club Aston Villa, despite his current contract running until 2025.

Grealish (7.56) finished the 2020/21 season as the third best rated player in the Premier League behind international teammate Harry Kane (7.79) and Kevin De Bruyne (7.65).
