Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez will snub Real Madrid’s interest as he has already made up his mind to join Manchester City, reports The Daily Mirror.
The former Barcelona forward’s proposed £60m move to City collapsed on the final day of the summer transfer window but Pep Guardiola's side are expected to come back in for the Chile international either in January or next summer.
Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his existing Arsenal deal and reportedly has no interest in renewing with the Gunners after rejecting several new offers from the club.
The 28-year-old will be free to discuss terms to a Bosman transfer with foreign clubs in January and Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing the Arsenal No.7 back to Spain to bolster their offensive options.
However, Florentino Perez’s advances are likely to be rebuffed by Sanchez, who wants to reunite with Guardiola either in January or next summer.
Sanchez scored his first goal of the season in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over FC Cologne in Thursday’s Europa League group opener.
Despite not starting a league game this season, only Harry Kane (31) and Romelu Lukaku (29) have scored more Premier League goals than Sanchez (24) since the start of last season.
