Inter striker Stevan Jovetic has strongly refuted claims he is currently embroiled in a dispute with the club over a medical issue.
Jovetic, 25, joined the Nerazzuri over the summer and has had bad luck with injuries in the past, which limited his involvement at Manchester City.
Reports had emerged in Italy claiming Inter boss had reacted angrily to suggestions the Montenegro international flew to Germany against Inter’s wishes to seek treatment on a hamstring injury from former Bayern Munich doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt.
However, Jovetic has denied disobeying club orders and refuted claims of a rift with manager Mancini.
“I keep reading crazy things about me that, frankly, I don’t understand. I want to clearly specify that there’s no problem with Inter and Mr. Mancini,” Jovetic wrote on his official Facebook page.
“I wasn’t on some secret trip to Germany, it was a visit which was controlled and authorised by my club.
“Now I’m obliged, like everyone here, to be at Montenegro’s disposal. I’m here, I’m training and we’ll monitor my fitness day by day.
Jovetic has hit the ground running since joining Inter over the summer having contributed with three league goals already. In fact, only Anthony Mounier (75%) and Eder (46%) have contributed more goals to the total goals of their respective sides than Jovetic thus far in Serie A (38%).
