Paris Saint-Germain eye stunning move for Manchester United midfielder
Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Ander Herrera when his current Manchester United deal expires in the summer, reports The Sun.
Herrera has entered the final few months of his existing United contract and is yet to be offered an acceptable deal.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side want to keep the Spain international but have been served a blow following PSG’s pursuit.
PSG are willing to offer the 29-year-old a three-year deal worth £150,000-a-week but still have to convince Herrera to leave.
Herrera is settled in Manchester and his preference is to renew with the Red Devils but may have no choice but to join PSG.
Herrera has completed more tackles and interceptions combined (81) than any other United player in the Premier League this season.
Moreover, United have won 83.3% of the Premier League matches Herrera has started in 2019 compared to a win rate of just 50% when he hasn’t featured from the off in that time.
