Lille express interest in Middlesbrough winger

Lille are interested in handing Adama Traore a way out of Middlesbrough and are prepared to pay £9.2m for the winger, reports The Daily Mail.

The Championship outfit are willing to sell Traore this summer but have told Lille they want a replacement in place before sanctioning the deal.

Traore has spent the last 12 months at Middlesbrough after joining from Aston Villa last summer but is now ready to leave Garry Monk’s side after they were relegated to the Championship.

The former Barcelona academy graduate has only mustered 58 minutes of league action spread over two substitute appearances this season and is now in the sights of Lille.

Since the start of last season, only Wilfried Zaha (146) and Eden Hazard (143) have completed more dribbles than Traore (136) in the Premier League.
