Torino want Hart stay

Torino want to keep Joe Hart for another season after the goalkeeper was told he will not play for Manchester City again, according to Tuttosport, via Football Italia.

Hart, 29, joined Torino on a season-long loan deal after dropping down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola.

The England international has made a mixed start to life at Torino but the Italian side are keen to extend his stay with the club for another year, if City continue to subsidise most of his wages.

However, Torino’s attempts could be thwarted should a team come in and show an interest to buy Hart outright at the end of the season.

Hart has a modest save success rate of 70% but only Josip Posavec (3) has committed more errors that have led to a goal in Serie A this season than the Englishman (2).
