Serie A side Lazio have agreed a fee with Liverpool for the signature of castaway Fabio Borini, according to reports in Italy.
Borini, 24, must now decide whether or not he wants to return to Italy with it having been previously alleged that the Liverpool forward would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
The former Roma striker has endured a torrid time at Anfield since arriving in 2012 – spending the 2013/14 campaign on loan at Sunderland - and could now be on the verge of joining Roma’s fierce rivals Lazio.
The Italy international only managed a WhoScored.com rating of 6.22 last season, which was the lowest of any players to have made more than five appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League last season.
