West Brom and Leicester to fight for Lokomotiv Moscow defender

West Brom and Leicester are set to lock horns for the signature of Lokomotiv Moscow centre-back Soloman Kvirkvelia, reports The Sun. 

The 25-year-old only joined Lokomotiv Moscow on a permanent basis in the summer after impressing on loan during the second half of last season. 

Lokomotiv are currently eight points clear of the Russian Premier League at the halfway stage and Kvirkvelia has played an integral part in their success. 

His performances in the league and in Europe have caught the eye of West Brom and Leicester, who both want to sign the Georgia international next month. 

Not only has Kvirkvelia completed the most clearances in this season’s Russian Premier League (149), but he is also top of the pops in the Europa League as well (54).
