Chelsea and Manchester United on red alert as Declan Rice made available
West Ham could be forced to cash in on star midfielder Declan Rice this summer following the finanical impact of the coronavirus pandemic, claims The Sun.
David Moyes wants to make wholesale changes to West Ham's squad at the end of the summer but the Hammers are not in a position to spend lots of money.
It means West Ham will have to sell before they can buy and they are now open to offers for some star names like Felipe Anderson and Rice.
The former is wanted back in Serie A, while Rice has regularly been linked with a move to the likes of former club Chelsea and United.
United have been monitoring Rice's development for several years now but Chelsea could hold the trump card in the form of Mason Mount.
Rice and Mount are boyhood friends and both have admitted it would be a dream to play on the same team at club level.
The £70m-rated England international has already cemented himself as a regular for Gareth Southgate's Three Lions by the age of 21 and now looks set for a high profile move away.
Only Southampton ace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (287) has won possession more times than Rice (249) in the Premier League this season.
