Borussia Dortmund set to launch Arsenal raid

Borussia Dortmund are prepared to launch a summer raid for Arsenal left-back Bukayo Saka amid the teenager's ongoing contract situation with the Gunners, reports The Sunday Mirror. 

Dortmund are looking to plunder the English youth market once more having enjoyed great success with Jadon Sancho, who has excelled for the Bundesliga side and has been linked with a £100m move to Manchester United. 

The German giants are among the favourites to land Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City and are looking to boost their squad further with the capture of Saka. 

The 18-year-old has made a regular starting spot his own for the Gunners this term having excelled under Mikel Arteta. 

And Dortmund have identified the left-back as a player they are keen on luring to Germany as they seek to improve their left-back options in the off season. 

Saka has a little over 12 months to run on his current deal with Arsenal and while the club are working hard to tie him down to a new long-term contract, there has been no breakthrough as of yet.
