Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has poured cold water on talk of a summer move to Real Madrid.
Lewandowski has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in the past and reports have emerged suggesting Zinedine Zidane’s side want to sign the Poland international at the end of the season.
Florentino Perez is reportedly planning a squad overhaul in the summer following this season’s failings and Lewandowski features at the top of their wish list.
An article published by MARCA claimed Lewandowski is looking for one last big challenge, but the 29-year-old insists he is not interested in paper talk.
“I hear this speculation every year,” he told German outlet BILD. “These rumours do not interest me. That’s all I have to say.”
Lewandowski has established himself as one of the best centre forwards in Europe since moving to Bayern in 2014.
In fact, the Pole has scored at least 10 more goals than any other Bundesliga player in that period (95 goals in 116 appearances).
